DealMachine has evolved, and so has the way that plans work. If you've logged in recently and seen terms like data credits, Wallet Funds, and AI Credits, this guide is for you.
Below, we'll walk through what each of the three balances covers, how the current plans are structured, and what's included versus what's usage-based.
We'll also cover what to expect if you were already a DealMachine member before the change, including what happens to your seats and where your familiar features moved. Also, don't worry, you'll still have access to the classic DealMachine; it's not going anywhere for a while.
By the end, you'll know exactly which balance covers what, so nothing about your bill or your account comes as a surprise.
The Short Version
The next evolution of DealMachine is 43% cheaper for texters and 9% cheaper for cold callers. Every plan includes seats and a monthly allowance of data credits. Data credits replace the export limits from before as well as help with data security for homeowner data.
-
Data Credits are included with your plan and cover revealing contacts and exporting records.
-
Wallet Funds are a prepaid balance for sending direct mail.
-
AI Credits power the AI chat assistant, a paid-plan feature.
The three balances stay separate, so activity in one never draws from another. Browsing properties, owner names, and profiles is free. Data credits apply when you reveal a contact or export a record.
What the Plans Look Like Now
The next evolution of DealMachine uses simple per-seat pricing, with a monthly data credit allowance included for every user. As of July 29, 2026, Basic is $99 per user per month with 10,000 data credits per user, built for solo investors and small teams. Pro is $149 per user per month with 20,000 data credits per user, built for deal teams that run on more data.
Scale is $599 per package per month, with each package covering 100,000 records and 10 users, built for agencies and enterprises buying in bulk. To access the scale plan or stack plans for more than 60,000 data credits, you can reach out to our sales team.
Billing annually saves 17%. Driving for Dollars is included with every plan, and Mail is usage-based. Dive further into the current package offerings on the DealMachine pricing page.

Data Credits
Data credits are the currency DealMachine uses to get homeowner data and property data out of the platform. Two actions spend them.
-
Revealing a contact's phone or email costs 1 data credit per contact. If a property has four contacts and you reveal all four, that's four data credits.
-
Exporting costs 1 data credit per record, and both a property and a contact each count as a record. So exporting 10 properties with one contact each costs 20 data credits. Once you've revealed or exported a record, working with it again is free within the same billing period. DealMachine won't charge you a second time for the same record.
If you reveal the contact information in a property, then go to export it and do a property list, property owners export, (or a contact list plus property owners export), you won't get charged again for the contact information. However, if you include property details in your export of contacts, you do get charged credits for that. Check out the example below.

Your DealMachine data credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over, so any you don't use are not carried into the next month. To check your balance and reset date, click your name in the bottom-left corner of the app. Basic includes 10,000 data credits per month, Pro includes 20,000, and Scale includes 100,000.
Wallet Funds
Wallet Funds are a prepaid balance used for one thing: sending direct mail. If you used DealMachine before, this is what used to be called marketing credits. Funds are managed in your Wallet and are completely separate from your data credits.
When you launch a mail campaign, DealMachine shows an Order Summary with the total cost, then charges your Funds on each scheduled send. If your balance runs low, you have two options. You can choose Reload now to top up right away, or turn on Auto-reload so your campaigns keep sending without interruption.
Postcard pricing is per piece and depends on your plan. For example, a 4x6 postcard is currently $0.75 on Basic and $0.70 on Pro.
AI Credits
AI Credits are the third balance, and they power the AI-chat assistant. This is a page-aware assistant that can search, enrich, export, and build lists from plain-language requests.
AI Credits are a separate balance from Data Credits and Wallet Funds, so AI Chat activity never draws down the credits you use for revealing or exporting. This is a paid-plan feature.
DealMachine Classic Users
If you were a DealMachine customer before this launch in July 2026, there's very little for you to do. You automatically have access to the next evolution of DealMachine.
That includes your seats. Because you were already a customer, your account carries over the same number of seats you had on your previous plan, and you don't pay extra to keep them. New sign-ups choose their seats and data on the pricing page, but your existing access comes with you as long as you keep your existing account.
The core workflow is the same as before: find properties (and now people), get homeowner data, and reach out, though a number of features have been renamed and reorganized. Skip tracing is now Reveal Contact.
Marketing credits are now Wallet Funds, and if you choose to, you can do a one-time transfer of marketing credits into your Wallet Funds. Alma is now AI Chat, powered by the new AI Credits balance. And leads have been split into clearer tools like Lists, Saved Records, and Targets. There are also new features that we will dive into in a future blog.
